thanks Anon Ymous, selecting 'keep broken files' worked for me and a quick check of the avi file seems to playback ok.
and thanks again goddy for the movie!
I use Winrar, so I accessed the parts from Winrar.
before you extract, check the option of keep broken parts and extract to the location you want... the same errors will pop up, but after all the parts have been extracted, you can still play the movie fine. at least from a quick check, the video and audio are fine...
